In our latest formation, IRIS ACCESS was founded by Nefeli Papantonopoulou, in continuation of the AKTIS AVteam from 1999. Our group is comprised of accessible certified professionals with different backgrounds and experiences in the fields of accessible cinema, theatre, literature, architecture, interactive e-book publishing and education through art. We all share the same vision of a barrier-free society and equal citizens.
We believe that diversity is a valuable asset in an inclusive society and strive to create a community where sound and image are everyday life for everyone – without obstacles. We have already produced accessible artistic audiovisual productions and collaborated with institutions like the Disabled Artists Movement, Thessaloniki Festival, The Greek Film Archive Foundation, ERT National broadcaster, Greek National Opera, Megaron The Athens Concert Hall, and many others.
The core purpose of our organization is to provide accessible, artistic audiovisual productions and provide a truly inclusive experience in Europe.
Therefore, we are running our company, we comb every sphere and work all the time to establish contact with everyone and make it a reality and we know that sooner or later and when people start getting the chance, they will feel the entertainment and depart fascinated.
So, we aim to lead with our hearts and keep making our art accessible and enjoyable.
